11. A brochure is released to help Individual Taxpayers filing Returns for the first time. Excel Offline Utility for e-filing ITR-6 for AY 22-23 is released. After making payment of “Self-Assessment Tax”, kindly ensure to enter the details in Schedule “Tax Paid” in the return. DGIT (S) Notification No 5/2022 issued for Reduction of time limit for verification of ITR from 120 days to 30 days of transmitting the data of ITR electronically. E-filing of Updated ITR u/s 139(8A) has also been enabled for ITR 5 & 6 for AY 2020-21 and AY 2021-22 using Excel utility (available in Downloads). Refer News and Updates sections for details. Remaining Forms as per DGIT(S) Notification No.3/2022 have also been enabled for e-filing. e-Pay Tax service is now enabled with wider payment options including RTGS/NEFT and Payment Gateway modes. E-filing of Updated ITR u/s 139(8A) has also been enabled for ITR 7 for AY 2020-21 and AY 2021-22 using Excel utility (available in Downloads). Offline utilities for filing Form 10B, 10BB, 29B and 29C are available on the portal. Bank of India has been migrated from OLTAS e-Payment of Taxes at NSDL to e-Pay Tax facility at the e-Filing portal for payment of taxes henceforth. 10-IJ and Form No.10-IL are available for filing on the portal.
